About Us


Our history

Clay and Jen Stem started their farm in 2017 with the vision of supporting their community by providing fresh, locally grown microgreens and produce.  They also wanted to teach their children, Chase and Grady, that social and environmental change is possible with small scale, natural farming.   Clay and Jen have been happily married for 17 years and have two amazing boys. Chase is 15 years old and enjoys filling his free time playing soccer and beekeeping.  Grady is 13 years old and loves video games, mowing the lawn, and running.


Our products

We grow many varieties of microgreens.  Our core flavors are: Sunflower, Pea, Broccoli, Radish, Kale and Powerhouse Mix.  We often have specialty varieties...these vary market to market.  We grow using organic methods. 

We are beekeepers and look forward to providing honey to our customers in the future!  

We also offer our homemade, organic lip balms and fragrances.  The lip balms are made with honey from our bees. Both the lip balms and fragrances are made with local beeswax from The Boone Regional Beekeepers Association.  


Where to find us

You can find our microgreens on the shelves at all 3 Columbia HyVee locations as well as Lucky's Market, Clovers Natural Market and Root Cellar!  

We have a booth at Columbia Farmers Market.  Come see us on Saturdays from 8am-noon at the Ag Park!
